KaiLin Ceramic sand is man-made from calcined bauxite and is mineralogically described as a mixed mullite crystal. Its Al2O3 content ranges between 73% – 78%. Other elements include Fe2O3 ( <5%), TiO2 (3-4%), and SiO2 (12-25%)  As a result of the fused manufacturing process, Silicon is found in an amorphous state only.  NO crystalline silicon is present in KailIn Ceramic sand.
